Our software, shop and accounts are covered by the main Signal Records Privacy Policy.
Nothing you put into the tools. They run in your browser: files you open (images, audio, notes and so on) are processed on your device and never sent to us. Some tools save your work in your browser's own storage on your device; it stays there until you clear it. There are no accounts, forms or adverts, and we set no cookies.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page visits and page-loading performance without cookies, doesn't keep your IP address and doesn't track you across websites. You can switch it off, free, through Privacy choices at the bottom of the page. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived server logs (including IP addresses, up to 7 days) to run and protect the site.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply, and keep them for up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
Some tools load code or map images from other companies when you open them. Your browser then connects to that company, which receives your IP address and basic browser details, as with any website. They act under their own privacy policies:
You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected] or writing to our registered office; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
